We hear the word "Short Sale all of the time. Recently, I have had many inquiries about "What is a Short Sale" and can I be helped.

A Short Sale is a viable alternative to loosing your home to foreclosure. If a homeowner is or will be behind on their mortgage payments now or in the near future due to a loss of a job, medical issues, or anything that will no longer allow the homeowner to make their monthly payment,they may qualify for help from the lender through a "Short Sale". After a review of a homeowners financial position, a lender may allow the home to sell for less than what is owed on the mortgage and take that amount as satisfaction of the mortgage.
